007 First Light Guide: Crashing the Party for Ellis White
Sneak into the Ocean View Bar, Complete All Challenges, and Tag Your Target

Quick Answer: To successfully plant the Q Trak on Ellis White, you must incapacitate two tourists to steal their VIP flyer, annoy the bartender into leaving his post, and distract the storage room guards with a water hose to safely swipe the bar keys. Doing this perfectly completes the mission and nets you three optional challenges.
Touching down in the gorgeous Vietnam level comes with a straightforward objective: find your targets and tag them. Getting to Ellis White, however, requires jumping through a few hoops. He is currently lounging behind a velvet rope at the exclusive Ocean View Bar, guarded by a very stubborn bartender and a backroom crawling with security.
The game drops you into this scenario with zero handholding. If you want to successfully plant your tracker and walk away with a clean sweep of three missable challenges, you have to play smart and use your gadgets.
Infiltrating the Ocean View Bar
Your very first obstacle is simply getting through the front door. Head down the main resort stairs and keep moving southeast until you reach the rock steps leading to the bar entrance. Two imposing bouncers are guarding the entrance, and they demand a VIP flyer to let you pass.
Do not waste time arguing with them. Right after your conversation ends, two tourists will sit down directly behind you. They are carrying the exact VIP pass you need. Trying to pickpocket them in the middle of a crowded resort is a terrible idea and will blow your cover instantly.
Instead, rely on your spy tech.
- Pull out your Phone Dart or equip the Laser Strap.
- Zap the two women quickly and quietly to stun them.
- Loot the dropped flyer from the ground.
- Flash your new pass to the bouncers and stroll right in.
Successfully pulling this off proves that James Bond has absolutely no qualms about knocking out innocent vacationers, and more importantly, it unlocks the Party Crasher challenge.
Clearing the Bar
Now that you are inside, walk up to Ellis. You will quickly realize that you need to help Jonty secure the bar keys to make a drink. Before you go rushing into restricted areas, you have to get rid of the bartender watching your every move.
Walk over to the edge of the physical bar and interact with the small wine menu sitting on the counter. Once you finish reading it, step over to the left side and speak to the bartender. Tell him you want to order off the menu. Both dialogue prompts work perfectly here. Your ridiculous request will annoy him enough that he abandons his post entirely, instantly completing the Blanc the Brut challenge.

Securing the Keys
With the bartender out of the picture, you are free to slip behind the counter and push through the double doors leading into the storage room. This area is completely off limits.
Two guards are currently blocking your direct path to the keys. Squeezing past them is impossible. Look around the room until you spot a bright red toolbox. Inside that box is a water hose. Turn the valve to flood the floor. The noise and the growing puddle will pull both guards away from their post.

While the guards are distracted by the sudden plumbing emergency, sneak over and grab the bar keys. Vault over the nearby ledge and slip out the back door without making a sound. Deliver the keys back to Jonty. If you remained completely unseen, you will unlock the Key Master challenge.
Serving the Target
You have the keys, Jonty is ready, and it is finally time to serve Ellis his last drink of the evening.
Unlock the minibar to reveal four different drink options. Ellis explicitly asks for something with a massive kick, making the Tequila Slammer the obvious choice. In reality, the specific drink you choose is purely cosmetic and does not alter the gameplay mechanics at all. Pick whichever bottle you want, hand the glass over to your target, and James will automatically slip the Q Trak into the beverage right before Ellis takes a sip.
Quick Challenge Checklist
Keeping track of these optional tasks while dodging security can get chaotic. Use this quick reference table to ensure you sweep the board on your current playthrough.
| Challenge Name | How to Complete It |
| Party Crasher | Stun the two female tourists outside the club and steal their party flyer. |
| Blanc the Brut | Inspect the wine menu, then annoy the bartender by asking to order off the menu. |
| Key Master | Flood the storage room with the hose, grab the keys, and escape entirely undetected. |
Remember, sneaking through that back storage room is a strict pass or fail scenario. If a guard spots you, you will have to reload your latest checkpoint to secure the Key Master objective!
