Slime Seas Anime RPG Race Tier List: Best Races Ranked
Stop Wasting Rerolls: The Best Races for Every Build

In Slime Seas Anime RPG, your race is a lot more than just a cosmetic choice. The race you roll dictates your passive stats, which means it directly impacts your damage, how fast your skills cool down, and whether you can survive a boss fight. If you stick with a weak race, you are going to feel underpowered no matter how much you upgrade your weapons. I’ve broken down exactly what every race does so you know which ones to keep and which ones to reroll immediately.
There are 9 races in total. You can only equip one at a time, but the game lets you unlock up to three race slots using Diamonds, so you can save good rolls while you hunt for the best ones.
The Ultimate Race Tier List
Here is exactly where every race stands based on their stats, how well they scale into the late game, and how they pair with the current weapon meta.

S Tier: The Absolute Best
Dragonborn is easily the best race in the game right now. The stat spread is ridiculous. You get cooldown reduction, a massive health boost, and raw damage buffs for both Scythes and Greatswords. It is incredibly flexible, allowing you to swap weapons without losing your passive advantages. Since it is a Legendary rarity, it will take a lot of rerolls to get, but it is worth the grind.
Lunarian is the ultimate choice if you main a Katana. It perfectly blends mobility, survivability, and damage. You get a solid health boost, faster movement, and a massive 20% buff to Katana damage. As a Fabled rarity, it is slightly easier to roll than Dragonborn, but it still feels like hitting the jackpot.

A Tier: Strong, But With Catch
Djinn is a mobility monster built specifically for aggressive Scythe users. You get huge dash distance and cooldown reduction, but zero health buffs. It forces you into a glass-cannon playstyle where you have to dodge perfectly to survive.
Elf is fantastic because it is a Rare drop, meaning you will actually see it while rerolling. The stat boosts are smaller than Lunarian, but getting cooldown reduction, speed, and Katana damage all in one package makes it a perfect mid-game carry.
Shadowborn is the most frustrating race on this list. The buffs are insane—35% Katana damage and massive mobility boosts. However, the penalties are brutal. You lose 25% of your max health and your damage with Greatswords and Scythes is cut in half. It hits incredibly hard, but one mistake and you are dead.
B Tier: Functional for the Early Game
Oni is your basic bruiser setup. You get more health and better Greatsword damage at the cost of a slight movement penalty. If you are early in the game and using a Greatsword, this is a solid holdover until you hit Dragonborn.
Skypiean gives you modest Katana damage and movement speed. Because it is Uncommon, you will see it a lot. Use it while you save up more rerolls, but don’t plan on keeping it.
C and D Tier: Reroll Immediately
Fishman gives you a massive swim speed boost, but you barely spend any time in the water in this game. The 10% Greatsword damage just doesn’t justify keeping it when Oni exists.
Human is the default race. The 5% XP boost is nice for your first hour of gameplay, but you need combat stats to survive. Reroll this as fast as humanly possible.
How to Reroll Your Race
Rerolling is simple, but it costs resources. Open your menu, click the Stats icon (the book), and go to the Race tab. Hit the Reroll button at the bottom. You can get rerolls by using active game codes or buying them with Robux. Always remember to save a good A-tier race into an extra slot before you start aggressively spinning for an S-tier, just in case your luck runs dry.
