The Ultimate Slime Seas NPC Location Guide
Stop Wandering Aimlessly Around the Map: The Complete Guide to Finding Every Quest Giver, Merchant, and Crafting Station in Slime Seas

Running around massive islands in Slime Seas Anime RPG just to find one specific merchant or quest giver is a massive waste of time. Whether you are trying to upgrade your weapons, brew a luck potion, or figure out how to get a pet, you need to know exactly where to go. I have mapped out every single confirmed NPC and crafting station in the game so you can stop wandering aimlessly and get back to grinding.
Every NPC Location and Role
The game splits its vendors and quest givers across multiple islands. Some are actual characters you talk to, while others are just interactive stations. Here is the full breakdown of every character you can find right now.
| NPC Name | Location | What They Do |
| Brigurd | Starter Island, near the Merchant | Repeatable quest giver for early XP and gold up to level 30. |
| Merlong | Starter Island, near the Merchant | Race-roll NPC, though you can also do this in the character menu. |
| Pirate | Near the docks on any island | Spawns a boat for sea travel. Be careful, PvP is active on the water. |
| Berserker | Almost any island near a beach | Sells the Berserker Starter Pack Gamepass for Robux. |
| Merchant 1 | Starter Island, next to World Spawn | Sells unwanted weapons for gold. Crucial for early story progression. |
| Merchant 2 | Between Rima Boss and Crafting | Sells the Verdant Katana and Elder Forest Greatsword. |
| Merchant 3 | Entering World 2 past Rima Boss | Sells the Desert Katana and Crimson Slimesword. |
| Chief Brak III | Hub Island | Starts the main story quests. You are supposed to talk to him first. |
| Witch Doctor Baba | World 3 Main Hub | Unlocks new potion recipes through her questline. |
| Adventurer Dave | Next to Lord Rima Boss Room | Teaches you how to activate Waypoints for fast travel. |
| Rima | Island 3, Rima’s Spire | Quest giver you must complete before fighting Demon Lord Rima. |
Who You Should Actually Talk to First
The game tries to point you toward Chief Brak III on Hub Island to start the story. Honestly, you should ignore him for a minute and focus entirely on Brigurd on the Starter Island.
Brigurd gives you repeatable quests that are by far the fastest way to grind from level 1 up to level 30. You will earn a few thousand gold quickly, which is exactly what you need to buy a proper weapon. Talk to Brak to get the story rolling, but farm Brigurd until you are actually strong enough to survive.
Unlocking Your First Pet with Ash
Ash the Pet Master is a special NPC located on the Ice Bridge right above the Rima boss area. You cannot even interact with him until you beat Rima at least once. His entire questline revolves around getting your hands on a Drake egg to hatch a permanent pet mount. If you are at this stage and want the fastest method to get it done, definitely check out my full walkthrough on how to unlock the Forest Drake in Slime Seas so you do not waste hours farming the wrong enemies.
Where to Find the Potion Station
There is no dedicated potion vendor walking around. Instead, you have to go to the standalone Potion Station in the central square of HUB Island. You will see a giant neon sign, you cannot miss it. You brew everything yourself here. Witch Doctor Baba in World 3 gives you new recipes, but she does not sell the potions directly.
Here is exactly what you can craft at the station.
| Potion Type | Lesser | Greater | Superior |
| Gold | 1.2x for 3m | 1.4x for 15m | 1.6x for 30m |
| EXP | 1.2x for 3m | 1.25x for 15m | 1.5x for 30m |
| Power | 1.2x for 3m | 1.3x for 15m | 1.5x for 30m |
| Luck | 1.2x for 3m | 1.5x for 15m | 2x for 30m |
How the Blacksmith Station Works
Just like potions, there is no actual blacksmith NPC. Gear upgrades and dismantling happen at the Blacksmith Station on HUB Island. You need Upgrade Crystals to improve your gear, which drop from loot chests, the Daily Spin, or by dismantling old items. Do not worry, these are not pay-to-win items. You cannot buy them with Robux.
Upgrading your gear follows a very strict set of rules.
- Your very first upgrade on any weapon or armor is always a 100% guaranteed success.
- Every time you successfully upgrade an item, your chance of success on the next attempt drops by 5%.
- Every time an upgrade fails, the game pities you and increases your next success chance by 5%.
- The rarity of your Upgrade Crystal must perfectly match the rarity of the item you are trying to boost.
Dismantling Old Gear for Crystals
When you outgrow a weapon, you can either sell it to a Merchant for gold or throw it into the Blacksmith Station to get an Upgrade Crystal. Dismantling takes real time to process, but it works offline so you do not have to leave your game running.
No matter how heavily upgraded a weapon is, dismantling it always returns exactly one Upgrade Crystal of the base item’s rarity. Once the timer finishes, the item is destroyed forever and the crystal goes into your queue.
Fast Travel and Avoiding Pirates
You will find a Pirate NPC near the docks on most islands. He spawns boats for you to travel across the sea. Keep your head on a swivel when you leave the docks because the open water is a fully active PvP zone.
To avoid getting jumped on the water constantly, talk to Adventurer Dave near the Lord Rima Boss Room. He teaches you how to activate Waypoints. Once a Waypoint is active, you can instantly teleport to it using your menu menu. Set these up as early as possible to save yourself endless travel time.
