Mouse P.I. For Hire Guide: Cracking the Clergy Row Cell Block
The exact lever combinations to unlock both Clergy Row cell doors and grab the hidden safe loot.

The Clergy Row police station is packed with corrupt cops, but your biggest headache is going to be two heavy iron doors in the cell block. You walk up, and they are completely shut tight. You cannot blast them open, and there is no hidden key to find.
The actual secret is hiding in the monitor room right next door. Let us break down exactly how to solve this math puzzle and pop both doors wide open.
How the Monitor Room Actually Works
Before you start yanking levers randomly, you need to know what is happening. The monitor room sits behind some glass overlooking the cells. Inside, you will find two separate consoles. Each one has three levers and controls one of the locked doors.
Every time you pull a lever, it adds or subtracts a specific number from a running total on the screen across the room. If you mess up and overshoot your target number, do not panic. There is no time limit. You can just keep pulling levers to correct the math.
- Pro Tip: Kill every single enemy in the area before you start this. They will not follow you into the room, but getting shot while trying to do mental math is a great way to lose your spot.

Unlocking the Right Cell Door (The Loot)
You want to open this one first. It hides a room with a safe you can tailpick for rare ammo, health, or weapon upgrade cash. The magic target number for the right door is exactly 35.
Here is the exact sequence to open it:
You will hear a loud clunk when it unlocks. Walk inside and claim your loot. Just remember that some safes require a higher tailpicking skill, so hopefully you have been upgrading it.
Unlocking the Left Cell Door (Story Progression)
The left door is your actual progression gate. You have to open this to push deeper into the station offices and continue the mission. Your target number for this door is 26.
Here is the exact combination:
What to do if the Doors Glitch Out
Sometimes you hit the exact number, and absolutely nothing happens. The game can get a little buggy if an enemy is standing directly behind the door.
Make sure the cells are actually empty. If the door is still stuck, just pull any lever once to change the number, then pull the opposite lever to bring the total back to your target. This usually forces the game to wake up and trigger the unlock script. Keep your eyes on the screen through the glass instead of trying to count entirely in your head.
That is all there is to it. The right cell is absolutely worth the extra thirty seconds of effort, especially if your pockets are empty.
