Zero is your protagonist. You unlock them the second you boot up the game. Zero is a Cosmos unit with decent AOE damage and a self-sustain mechanic tied to the Charge reaction. Their biggest asset is the ability to fully charge the Esper Meter when using an Ultimate, making quick-swap team rotations buttery smooth.

Chiz is the absolute backbone of free-to-play damage in this game. Do not ignore your City Tycoon progression. You unlock this S-class Cosmos unit at Tycoon Level 18, and her entire progression path is completely free. You earn all of her duplicates, her signature weapon, and her weapon upgrades just by playing the Tycoon mode. Her kit revolves around building “Grain” stacks with basic attacks to unleash massive skill damage. She shares the Cosmos element with Zero, making them an excellent pair early on.

Your free A-class units perfectly cover the support, shielding, and AOE damage roles you need to round out a team.

• Haniel: Claim her from your inbox immediately after unlocking the gacha system. She is a pure attack buffer who easily slots into your starter squad.
• Aurelia: Log in for three days to grab her. She excels at grouping enemies together with her Ultimate and wiping them out with massive AOE bursts. Pair her with an Incantation character to trigger the Discord reaction.
• Mint: You get the game’s poster character for beating the Prologue. She is a solid early carry who boosts the Blossom reaction alongside Zero, though she will eventually be outclassed by premium units like Nanally.
• Adler: Reach the Eibon Antique Shop in the main story to unlock him. He applies damage-over-time effects and hands out shields that remain valuable all the way into the hardest endgame content.

The Standard Board S-Class Selector

After you complete 50 pulls on the Standard Board, the game hands you a one-time selector ticket to choose any S-class character from the standard pool. This is a guaranteed reward, not a pity mechanic.

Even better, the first 50 pulls on this board come with a 20% discount. That means 10-pulls only cost 8 Fabricated Dice, bringing the actual cost down to just 40 pulls.

You can choose one of these six units:

Do not use this selector immediately! The ticket never expires. Wait until you pull your very first S-class character naturally from the Standard Board. If you use the ticket early, you risk pulling a duplicate of that exact character on your next roll, completely wasting your free choice. Use the selector to fill a missing role, preferably picking a Burst DPS or Support, as they resist power creep better than a Main DPS.
