Far Far West Guide: Every Map Secret and Hidden Collectable
From bell-ringing puzzles to Area 41 symbol slabs, here is how to uncover the frontier’s biggest mysteries and unlock the final map.

Quick Answer: To uncover every secret in Far Far West, you must solve the bell-ringing puzzles in the Far West, reunite numbered children with their parents in the Desert, and tap mushrooms in a specific 1-7 order in the Woodland. Most importantly, you must collect four hidden symbols from across the world to solve the Area 41 slab puzzle and finish the three-part quest chain required to unlock the Far Far North map.
Far Far West doesn’t like holding your hand. While the bounty missions are straightforward, the game is packed with puzzles and collectables that never appear on your HUD or map markers. If you want to unlock the elusive Far Far North region or claim the best hidden rewards, you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled for specific colored logos and strange environmental cues.
Since the game is currently in Early Access, keep in mind that the developers might shift these locations in future patches. For now, here is the definitive breakdown of how to clear every map secret.
Far West: Aerial Bells and Quest Starters
The starting area features a three-part musical puzzle that confuses most newcomers. You will see red logo icons on your map that indicate where these “bell minigames” are located.
- The Sky Bell Sequence: At each red logo, you’ll find a bell sitting on the dirt. Interact with it first; it will give you a specific sequence. You then need to look up and shoot the bells hanging in the sky in that exact order. Guessing won’t work, so pay attention to the ground bell’s prompt.
- The Final Toll: After completing all three aerial sequences, head to the orange logo. You’ll need to climb to the roof of the main building to interact with the master bell and finish the chain.
- The North Path: Look for a green logo in this zone. Interacting here is the first essential step in the long-term quest to unlock the Far Far North map.
Desert: The Family Reunion
The Desert is less about puzzles and more about a massive scavenger hunt. You are looking for lost children (marked with red numbered logos) and their parents (marked with orange numbered logos).
Your goal is simple: find a child and escort them back to the parent with the matching number. There isn’t a strict order to this, so you can pick them up as you find them. While you’re wandering the dunes, make sure you swing by the purple logo to snag a symbol slab—you’ll need this later for the Area 41 endgame.
Canyon: Minigames and Medallions
The Canyon map tests your mechanics with three distinct minigames. These are found at the red logo sites. Once you successfully clear all three, the game will reward you with a physical medallion item. Take this medallion to the “F” logo on your map to lock it in and complete the area’s secret.

Much like the Far West, the Canyon also holds a piece of the puzzle for the frozen frontier. Visit the orange logo to complete the second part of the Far Far North unlock quest.

Woodland: The Mushroom Marathon
The Woodland secret is notoriously easy to mess up. You are looking for seven mushrooms scattered across the forest, each marked with a red logo and a number.
- Find Mushroom 1 and interact with it.
- Follow the sequence strictly from 2 through 7.
- If you touch them out of order, the sequence breaks and won’t register.
- Once you hit the seventh mushroom, sprint to the “F” logo to claim your completion.
Solving the Area 41 Symbol Slab Puzzle
Area 41 is the “hub” for the four symbols you’ve been collecting from the previous maps. If you haven’t visited the purple logos in the Far West, Desert, Canyon, and Woodland yet, you won’t be able to finish this.
Head to the red logo in Area 41 to find four stone slabs. Each slab has a different number of dots on it. You must enter the symbols in the following order:
| Map Source | Slab Dot Count |
| Far West | 1 Dot |
| Desert | 2 Dots |
| Canyon | 3 Dots |
| Woodland | 4 Dots |
Completing this puzzle is a major milestone. While you’re in Area 41, don’t forget to hit the purple logo to finish the third and final step of the Far Far North quest chain.
Far Far North: The Snowman Assembly
Once you’ve finished the missions in Far West (Green), Canyon (Orange), and Area 41 (Purple), the Far Far North map will finally open to you. The secret here is a bit more whimsical but just as tedious.
You need to visit every red logo on the frozen map to find scattered snowman parts. Instead of putting them in your inventory, you have to physically walk into them to “roll” them across the snow toward the “F” logo. Once every limb and head is gathered at the central spot, the snowman will assemble, marking the final secret of the current build as complete.
