Fortnite Guide: How to Find Every Cube Sprite in Chapter 7 Season 3
Master the storm and outrun the circle. Here is exactly where to find all eight new Kevin the Cube variants and how to leverage their Overdrive buff.

Quick Answer: The new Kevin the Cube themed Sprites grant you unlimited sprint stamina and massive jump boosts, but only while you are actively taking storm damage. Farm Vaults and Sprite Chests in specific POIs to track down all eight active variants.
Fortnite Runners just dropped a massive weekly update, and the loot pool is looking a lot more purple. We officially have eight brand new Cube Sprites roaming the island. If you want to collect the entire set, you are going to have to stop landing at your usual safe spots and start checking areas you probably ignore.
Since everyone is scrambling to figure out where these things actually spawn, I put together the exact breakdown of where to drop.
The Complete Cube Sprite Location Hitlist
If you want to finish your collection quickly, you need to map out a route that hits multiple Vaults in a single run. Way too many of these variants are locked behind Vault doors, so bringing the right tools to break in is absolutely mandatory.
| Variant Name | Where to Actually Find Them |
| Cube Earth | Search Sprite Chests around Frosted Flats, Cluster Coast, The Zero Point, Latte Landing, and Golden Grove. |
| Cube Fire | Hit up Sprite Chests in Shaken Sanctuary, Heatwave Harbor, The Battlewoods, and Sinister Strip. |
| Cube Fishy | Grab this from Fishing Spots, or search Calamari Canyon, Sunken Shores, Heatwave Harbor, and Cluster Coast. |
| Cube Punk | Completely locked behind Vaults. Do not bother looking in the open field. |
| Cube Dream | Found in Vaults, Teleporters, Calamari Canyon, Lifty Lodge, and Latte Landing. |
| Cube Boss | Drops directly from defeated Runners Bosses, or by scanning rare areas with a Sprite Locator. |
| Cube Grim | Track them with a Sprite Locator, or check Wonkeeland, Sunken Shores, and Golden Grove. |
| Cube Batman | Look inside Vaults, regular Rare Chests, Wonkeeland, and Golden Grove. |
Since you will be doing a ton of rotating to hunt these down, having top tier mobility is non negotiable this season. You should absolutely check out our complete guide on getting the Batman Grapnel Gun to make your vault hunting runs ten times faster.

Best Methods for Farming Spawns
Wandering around hoping for good RNG is a terrible strategy. While these companions technically have a microscopic chance to pop out of regular or Rare Chests, you need to force the odds in your favor.
Here is how you actually get them to spawn:
- Prioritize opening dedicated Sprite Chests over everything else.
- Burn through your Cluster Found Quests as fast as possible.
- Spam your Sprite Locator Gizmos and Lucky Locator Gizmos whenever you have them.
- Hunt down rival players who already have a Cube Sprite equipped and take it from them.
- Find characters on the map who are willing to trade for one.
How the Overdrive Effect Actually Works
So, why go through all this effort? Because Cube Sprites are a Special variant that completely breaks late game movement. They keep their standard base abilities, but they add a massive secondary buff called Overdrive.
This is the exact same buff you get from a Striker Sprite or an Overdrive Grenade. You get infinite sprint stamina, you run significantly faster, and your jump height goes through the roof.
There is one massive catch. The Overdrive buff only activates while you are standing inside the storm. The exact millisecond you step into the safe zone, you lose your movement buffs.
This makes these companions ridiculously strong for late rotations. If the circle is pushing you from behind, you can just dip into the storm edge and sprint your way out without constantly stopping to pop Medkits. It is also the perfect setup if you are a player who loves camping the storm to farm uncontested loot.
One quick warning before you drop in. You might see people on social media talking about a Cube Zero Point Sprite. Do not waste a single match looking for it. That variant is completely unfinished and is not currently active in the loot pool. Stick to the eight on the list above.
