Gecko Gods 100% Completion Guide: All Achievements and Relics
Unlock all 17 achievements and track down every hidden Relic with this complete roadmap to a stress-free platinum

A Stress-Free Path to 100% in Gecko Gods
Getting full completion in Gecko Gods is honestly a breeze compared to most games dropping right now. Developer Inresin crafted a genuinely cozy puzzle platformer where you don’t have to stress about a single missable item. You can expect to spend about five hours grabbing all 17 achievements, and since the world stays open after the credits roll, you can clean up anything you missed at your own pace.
While the game is forgiving, knowing where the 28 Relics are hidden before you start your run will save you some serious backtracking. Let’s break down exactly what you need to do to grab that platinum without wasting your weekend.
Story Achievements You Cannot Miss
You get the bulk of the achievements just by playing the main campaign. There are 11 of these, and they unlock automatically as you clear temples and wake the gods. You literally cannot miss them, so just enjoy the journey.
| Achievement | How It Unlocks |
| Mysterious Caves | Find a way through the opening caves |
| Setting Sail | Get your hands on the boat |
| Ancient Hill | Solve the starting riddles of the Ancient Hill |
| Sailing Isle | Clear all challenges on the Sailing Isle |
| Singing Peaks | Finish the Singing Peaks challenge |
| Desert Temple Gate | Open up the entrance to the Desert Temple |
| Desert Temple | Navigate your way through the Desert Temple |
| Volcano Temple Gate | Open the entrance to the Volcano Temple |
| Volcano Temple | Head down into the Volcano Temple |
| Smoldering Fire Gecko | Wake up the Gecko of the Volcano |
| Awaken the Gods! | Roll the end credits |
The Explorer Grind and Essential Guides
Outside of the story, you have three miscellaneous achievements to look out for.
First up is “Explorer!” which asks you to step foot on all 10 islands. The archipelago includes the River Temple, Singing Peaks, Sailing Isle, Ancient Hill, Great Desert, The Volcano, and 4 Tiny Islands. There is a catch here: the achievement will not pop until you actually open the in-game Guide menu after visiting your final island. Open it immediately so you don’t panic thinking the game bugged out.
Next is “Money Machine,” requiring you to collect 10,000 Gems. This tracks cumulatively across multiple saves, so just smash every vase you see and you’ll hit it eventually without any sweaty grinding. Finally, “Completionist” unlocks automatically once you bag everything else.

Tracking Down All 28 Relics
Relics are your main collectible challenge. Unlike the insects that randomly respawn to fill your stamina bar, there are exactly 28 Relics hidden in very specific optional areas. You’ll often have to solve a side puzzle or find a hidden lever to reach them.
Eat every insect you see while exploring to naturally unlock the “Big Lunch” achievement. Combine that with grabbing all 28 Relics, and you’ll earn the coveted “Hoarder” trophy. Here is exactly where to find every Relic to complete your collection.
| Island Location | Total | Exact Location & Puzzle Requirement |
| River Temple | 1 | Sitting right on top of the island. |
| River Temple | 2 | Southwest area. Pull the nearby lever to raise the stone structure between the two gecko statues. |
| River Temple | 3 | Northwest beach. Solve the puzzle inside the nearby cave to open the stone structure. |
| River Temple | 4 | Tucked at the far end of the aqueduct in the northeast. |
| River Temple | 5 | In the hall with the Cathedral Gong, squeeze through the small hole in the wall. |

| Sailing Isle | 1 | Resting on the bridge in the middle of the island. |

| Ancient Hill | 1 | In the room next to the beacon activator. You must defeat all enemies first for it to open. |
| Ancient Hill | 2 | Inside the circular stone structure in the southwest. You have to solve the nearby puzzle first. |
| Tiny Islands | 1 | On the small chunk of land between the River Temple and the Great Desert. |
| Tiny Islands | 2 | Between the Great Desert and the Volcano. Pull the nearby lever to grab it. |
| Tiny Islands | 3 | On the small island between Singing Peaks and the Volcano. |
| Tiny Islands | 4 | Located between the Sailing Isle and the Volcano. |
| Great Desert | 1 | Hidden right in the southwest camp. |
| Great Desert | 2 | In the ruined tunnel in the southwest. Check behind the large gecko statue on the lighthouse. |
| Great Desert | 3 | In the ruined tunnel in the middle of the island. Climb through the window, head left, and smash the vases. |
| Great Desert | 4 | In the ruined city in the middle of the island. You need to ring all four bells to reveal it. |
| Great Desert | 5 | Sitting on top of the building in the far northwest corner. |
| Great Desert | 6 | Successfully complete the ring parkour challenge by the Desert Gate in the northeast. |
| The Volcano | 1 | Tucked under the cave elevator. You have to sail through the rings to access it. |
| The Volcano | 2 | In the city right in front of the Volcano Gate. Just pull the nearby lever. |
| The Volcano | 3 | Hidden directly under the bridge at the Volcano Gate. |
| The Volcano | 4 | All the way at the very top of the Volcano. |
| The Volcano | 5 | Complete the ring parkour challenge located in front of the Volcano Gate. |
| The Volcano | 6 | Open the stone structure in the east. The solution displayed nearby is upside-down, so read it inverted! |
At a breezy difficulty rating of 3 out of 10, completely clearing Gecko Gods is an incredibly satisfying experience.
