Neverness to Everness Guide: How to Complete the “Sales Pitch” Quest

Quick Answer: The “Sales Pitch…?” side quest (which flips its name to “Goodbye, Yellow Flag Stage!” upon acceptance) is an easy, beginner-friendly driving mission. Find Gethrie at Bridge Crossing, use the in-game time skip to fast-forward to her text message, and coast through the race using the Novus C2000 to bag an easy 30,000 Beetle Coins.

Quest Requirements and Rewards

Before you go hunting for the starting location, you must confirm you have completed the main story requirement: Prologue 2: “Good Business, Better Treasure”. If you haven’t finished that step, the quest giver will not spawn.

The rewards for this relatively short side quest are highly lucrative, especially for early-game players building up their currency reserves.

Step 1: Finding Gethrie

Head over to the Bridge Crossing district and look for Gethrie standing outside the Rampage Players building. (If you are having trouble spotting her, simply track the quest on your map and follow the marker).

Interact with her to trigger the initial conversation. You will be given multiple dialogue choices, but don’t sweat it—your responses here do not affect the outcome or prevent you from accepting the quest. Once the first conversation ends, immediately interact with her a second time to complete the “Listen to what Gethrie has to say” objective.

Step 2: How to Skip the Time Wait

After your second chat with Gethrie, the quest log tells you to wait until 8:00 PM the next day for her to contact you. Do not sit around waiting in real-time!

While the quest is actively tracked, press L3 (or your designated time-skip bind on PC/Mobile) to automatically advance the time of day. The game will jump you forward instantly.

Once the time skip finishes, press L3 again to directly open Gethrie’s message on your phone. Read through the text options until the message window displays “END” at the bottom. This confirms the “Spectate Arrangements” objective is complete.

Step 3: Winning the Race

From the parking lot near Rampage Players, head west toward the intersection and interact with Gethrie at the Race Track Starting Point.

Crucial Step: When prompted to select your vehicle for the race, you must choose the Novus C2000. Picking a different car can cause progression bugs with the quest, so stick to the requested ride.

The race itself is incredibly forgiving. Here is the best way to handle it:

• Don’t overthink the speed: Both your car and your opponent’s car are slow. Raw speed is not the deciding factor here.
• Forget the brakes: The Novus C2000 handles well enough that you do not need to touch your brake pedal once.
• Coast the corners: When approaching a sharp turn, simply release the gas pedal and steer smoothly through the curve. The car will respond cleanly without needing any aggressive drifting techniques.

Step 4: Claiming Your Rewards

Once you cross the finish line, walk back down the block to Rampage Players and approach Gethrie one last time. Interacting with her completes the final “Racer’s Soul” objective and officially wraps up the quest.

Your massive payout of 30,000 Beetle Coins, 15,000 Fons, and 400 Hunter Level EXP will drop into your inventory immediately!
