The 1.0 update threw us a massive bone by reducing the condensation cost. Hitting a 4-star rank now requires only 48 duplicates, a massive drop from the ridiculous 116 required back in early access. Condensing your workers directly multiplies the sheer volume of items they drop.

You also need to breed for specific passives. Work speed directly affects the digging animation, meaning a faster animation equals faster drops.

• Artisan and Serious: These traits crank up their animation speed.

It will start generating Mega, Giga, and Hyper Spheres. Since Hyper Spheres remain viable all the way up to the endgame zones, you will save mountains of Ingots and Paldium Fragments. Your Ranch simply handles your ammo.

If you want to become disgustingly rich, turn your attention to Sibelyx Primo. High Quality Cloth is normally a pain to craft due to the steep wool requirements. A condensed Sibelyx Primo bypasses this and prints it for free. To maximize your profits, load your active party with Pals holding the Noble and Fine Fur passives, then visit a merchant. Each piece of cloth will sell for a massive 369 Gold.

Warning: The Level 5 Ranching Bug

Before you dedicate your weekend to breeding the ultimate farming team, you need to be aware of a brutal bug currently affecting dedicated servers and solo worlds.

If you push a Pal’s specific farming level to 5 or higher, their AI completely breaks. They will stand in the Ranch looping their digging animation forever, but absolutely zero items will spawn.

This bug frequently breaks Mozzarina and Dumud. Furthermore, certain Pals like Mau Cryst, Sootseer, and Vaelet will sometimes refuse to work altogether regardless of rank, depending on server quirks.

For now, keep your main production team safely capped at rank 4. Load them up with work speed and insomnia traits, go explore the map, and come home to overflowing storage chests.
